How to Create Beautiful Buntings Using Paper Craft Techniques

Paper bunting crafts are a wonderful choice of activity for their affordability, ease, and versatility! Here are some ideas that one can do easily with kids

Basic Paper Bunting:

  • Materials: Colored paper (cardstock or Ivory sheet for sturdiness), scissors, glue stick, twine or ribbon.

  • Instructions: Cut triangles of any size you like. Punch two holes near the top and thread your twine or ribbon through. You can create simple patterns by using different paints, markers ,patterns- stripes, dots, florals ,geometrical


Fancy Flags:

  • Materials: Similar to above, plus hole punchers (optional), stencils, glitter glue (optional).

  • Instructions: Cut triangles and add decorative elements like scalloped circles using a punch or hand-drawn curves. Decorate with flower paper cuts or gems



Theme-Based Bunting:

  • Seasonal Celebrations: Cut out snowflakes for winter, leaves for autumn, hearts for Valentine's Day, Diyas for Diwali etc. You can even add glitter or pom-poms for extra festive flair. For summers one can cut out Ice cream shapes, slipper shapes or pineapples anything related to summers is good to go activity. Instead of paper one can cut the base from Fabric or Jute cloth to add Rustic charm

  • Birthday Party: Use the birthday person's favorite colors and themes. Cut out letters to spell their name or age, or use shapes related to their hobbies.

  • Baby Shower: Create pastel-colored flags with tiny bows, animal shapes, or baby-related sayings.
